Sitting on the couch gestating away, or maybe even in bed. No judgement here. you're probably in your pj's with a nice cup of decaf (probably not) coffee or tea while watching yet another episode of "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" and wondering how anyone could not know.
Yes, You. You are beautiful and motherhood looks fabulous on you.
Your face may be blotchy and sweaty and you may be contemplating running back to the bathroom to evacuate this mornings breakfast, but you are glowing. (Not just from the sweat, I promise.)
Your body is extraordinary and it's doing amazing things and I want to help you see that.
Here We Go!
It's time! Contractions have started. It's 2 am, bags are packed and we are ready to go! Off to the hospital, or maybe not. Whether Homebirth, Hospital or Birthing Center, your precious little one will make his grand entrance in the most beautiful way.
I believe each birth is special and each baby has their own story to tell. Some will come with pain medicine, some without. Some come fast and others come slow. Sometimes they need a little bit of help, and sometimes they need a lot of help.
Regardless, each birth is unique and special and powerful and I'd love to be there with you through each wave as you welcome your precious one to your family.

They're here, they're here. Your sweet bundle has finally arrived. All that work paid off Momma! You get to snuggle that precious baby and adore all those cute squishy pieces. Soak it all in while you can. They change so fast.
Newborn sessions are some of my favorite for that reason. I love capturing all those newborn baby details while they are still so very fresh. All those wrinkles and tiny nails and noses get so big so quickly. Make sure you never forget them.
